Did you know the scamming seniors have been referred to as the “crime of the 21st century” by the Nation Council on Aging?
Medicare.gov explains, “There are con artists who may try to get your Medicare Number or personal information so they can steal your identity and commit Medicare fraud. Guard your Medicare card like it’s a credit card. Give your Medicare Number only to people you know should have it. Medicare, or someone representing Medicare, will never contact you for your Medicare Number or other personal information unless you’ve given them permission in advance.”
Now more than ever is important to have an insurance broker that you can meet one on one with and know that this information is being provided to the correct person. Having a Broker/Agent working by your side provides a sense of security knowing that you aren’t giving private information over the phone to someone you don’t actually know. Let us help you with your Medicare Supplement and provide the peace of mind in knowing that your information is in good hands.
